Ontario Province Canada expressed an emergency on Friday, in the midst of the ongoing truck protest against the Covid mandate, Premier Doug Ford said to reporters.
“I will hold a cabinet to use legal authority to immediately impose an order that will make crystals clear, it is illegal and can be punished to block and block the movement of goods, people and services throughout critical infrastructure,” Ford said in a press direction.
Ford also promised new legal actions against protesters, including a fine and potential prison time for non-compliance with government orders.
