The fantasy horror series based on the comic series from Joe Hill saw three siblings moved to the house with many magic and secrets hidden inside. Season 1 consists of 10 episodes, all of which go down on Netflix globally on February 7, 2020.
It was a long way to get a TV series for Locke & Key according to an exhibition that commented on the fact, the series was first aimed at Fox and then upstream to take the pilot.
Reviews for New Netflix Series are generally positive with most complaints say it feels too familiar but simultaneously praised by other outlets with some say it gets the potential to be the next point.
Locke & Key Season 2 Netflix Update Status
The official update status: officially updated on March 30, 2020
On March 30, 2020, confirmed that Locke & Key would return for the second season. The update promises more keys and devils and maybe the most important, more Aloha!
According to our source which provides a production schedule, this series is currently in active development for the second season as soon as the first season is released. Again, filming will take place in Toronto, Canada. More about the production schedule in just one second.
Both exhibitions, Meredith Averill and Carlton Cuse talked about plans for the second season in an interview during the press tour for Locke & Key. It includes interviews with game spices where the creators said: “We are writing season 2, even though it’s not green. We work in a room,”
Connor Jessup who plays Tyler Locke also stated that there must be room for the second season in an interview that said: “The authors have worked in season 2 so if it’s been picked up, we are ready.” Adding the end of season 1 must set the second season.
What is the production status of Locke & Key Season 2 and when will Will Season 2 be on Netflix?
The second season was originally expected to start filming on August 17, 2020 and ended on February 5, 2021. Of course, Covid continued to disrupt the schedule of filmmaking as well as Locke & Key.
We got further updates in September 2020 that this series had been postponed a month and now because it began production on September 21, 2020, and runs until March 5, 2021. It was finally confirmed to occur a little on September 19 on September 19.

Locke and Key season 2 Darcy
Film Making was wrapped (expected to have finished filming in December 2021) but according to the production list of the Canadian Guild Directors (not officially connected to Netflix and a little wrong in several production dates), the show will undergo post-production for most of the remaining 2021 with September 3 is registered as the final date for “Voice Post”.

What is expected from the 2 Locke & Key season
For those who have completed the first season, you will really know that it immediately set up a new season. The last pan of this series is minimizing in the seafront city with dark and lightning sky in the distance.
This serial concludes with a sibling that enters the most dangerous door and finishes with a sibling into a keeper of all buttons. However, the crime was still hiding and dodging it seemed to go by giving the appearance he was Temati (or at least eliminated coldly) in the last climax battle. The key Omega is safe but the crown is still missing.
We expect the show to continue to stick with the comic for the main story arc but it has been mentioned that he can deviate with the creators say: “We want to make sure that the end works for the TV series and we not only force ourselves to be late by purpose.”

Brendan Hines will join the cast to play Josh Bennett “a charismatic and mysterious new history teacher at Matheson Academy with a secret agenda.”.
Among the other new faces for season 2 include:

Locke and 3 season key and season 4?
Yes. The future of Locke & Key is safe with the third season that has been booked and is being done on May 2021. We have heard rumors in the fourth season but maybe a little too early for it. We are also happy that Sandman comes to Netflix who can let the door wide open to special series / special films based on the comic book crossover.
Apart from the third season, co-showrunner for Locke & Key, Meredith Averill, also signed a whole contract with Netflix.
We have even heard that season 4 is in work but has not been officially confirmed.
Also if you like IDW comics, Netflix will be your home streaming for years to be given Netflix has output transactions with comic producers. They have produced V Wars and October factions (both realized it was canceled). You can also capture other serials Wynonna Earp and Dirk Holistic Holistic Detective Body on Netflix too.
IDW Entertainment also has more series in development including the Winterworld reportedly selected. Darkness looks and Mary’s night is also reportedly in development too, even though the details remain small at this time.
