New Delhi: The UN General Assembly chose to suspend Russia from the UN Human Rights Council as a punishment for the invasion of Ukraine. Of the 193 members of the Assembly, 93 chose to support the temporary suspension of 24 choosing against and 58 Abstain, only in the suspension of the two countries from the council, after Libya in 2011.
Ukraine warned residents in the east that they had a “last chance” to escape before a large Russian attack expected in the Donbas region. However, the train evacuated residents was stopped by Russian strikes at the only line that was still under Kyiv’s control.

Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu from Turkey, who hosted negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, said that the pictures of the body from Bucha and other areas had been “overshaded” what became a “positive atmosphere that appeared”.

The Largest Economic Leaders agreed to ban “new investments in the main sectors of the Russian economy, including the energy sector”, along with exports of exports on certain items and tightened the screws in Russian banks and state-owned companies.

The US Congress also voted for ending normal trade relations with Moscow and codified Russian oil prohibitions.
