Pakistani wife Imran Khan Rekham Khan has alleged that he was attended by an unknown man who opened the fire in the vehicle he took on Sunday night.
Targeting her ex-husband for the attack, Reham Khan said Pakistan had become land “cowardly, criminals and greedy” under the government of Imran Khan.
“On the way back from my niece’s wedding, my car was just fired and two men on a motorcycle holding a vehicle in Gunpoint! I just changed the vehicle. PS and my driver is in the car. This is a new Pakistan Imran Khan? Welcome In a cowardly state, criminals and greedy!, “he tweeted.
Even though unscathed, Reham Khan said the incident had left “angry and worried”. He also said that he would prefer a duel over “Cecardt Covert’s effort”.
An English-Pakistani journalist and former TV anchor, Reham Khan married Imran Khan from 2014 to 30 October 2015. The 48-year-old child was known for being a vocal critic of his ex-husband and often helped his governance and commentary style in public.
Following the Pulwama attack in 2019, Reham Khan said Imran Khan was the country’s military doll and came to power by compromising ideology and moderate policy.
