New Delhi: Health Minister Union Mansukh Mandaviya said on Tuesday that 96 countries have recognized Covaxin and Covishield and the two Covid-19 vaccines have received an emergency use listing (EUL) from the World Health Organization (WHO).
“Who entered eight vaccines in Eul so far. We are happy two of these are Indian vaccines – covaxin and covishield. Ninety-six countries in the world have recognized these two vaccines,” said Mandarviya to Ani’s news agency.
96 Countries include Canada, As, Australia, Spain, England, France, Germany, Belgium, Russia and Switzerland.
The Minister of Health also told me that more than 109 doses of Covid-19 Crore vaccines have been given so far in this country.
Under the mega vaccination campaign “Har Ghar Dastak” center, the minister said, “Health workers go to all houses to drive vaccination.”
He further said that the Government Government continued to communicate with the whole world so that the beneficiaries of the world’s largest Covid-19 vaccination program were accepted and recognized, thus reducing the goals of education, business and tourism.
Mrududaviya stressed that the Ministry of Health jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in sustainable communication with all countries to recognize vaccine certificates to facilitate international travel trips.
