Goldsman, Chabon and Kurtzman are also executive producers with Eugene Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, James Duff, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Terry Matalas, Doug Aarnokoski and Dylan Massin.

The first season of the inaugural series on January 23, 2020 was followed by the second season on March 3, 2022. The series has received positive reviews from critics and spectators and has a 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Star Trek: Picard Plot and Cast
