Priti Patel has decided to resign as the British domestic secretary and plans not to serve in the newly elected Prime Minister Liz Truss Cabinet.
In a letter to the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, MS Patel wrote, “It is my choice to continue my public service to the country and Witham’s constituents from Backbenhes, as Liz Truss officially took over the position and the Secretary of the new home was appointed.”
He congratulated Liz Truss because he was elected as the new leader of the country, and promised to provide support to him as the new prime minister. “From Backbenhes, I will fight for many policies and causes that I have been waiting for both inside and outside the government,” he added.
He stated that a deep honor had worked as a British domestic secretary for the past three years. “I am proud of our work to support the police, reform our immigration system and protect our country,” he wrote.
“It is a great honor and privilege to serve the country with you during your premiership,” Patel wrote for PM Boris Johnson who came out.
Considering Johnson’s contribution during his term of office as a PM, Patel wrote, “In July 2019, when you became prime minister, our political system was damaged. Parliament tore himself because some parliamentary members showed insults to democracy and died -the death tried to block Brexit.”
“You set a clear plan to complete Brexit, break the deadlock in parliament, and get a historic conservative victory in the 2019 general election, win the largest part of the voting for political parties since Margaret Thatcher,” he added.
“Under your leadership, we have made our country safer, reinforced by law and order, convey our manifesto’s commitment, and put a strong foundation for our successor in number 10 and at the head office to be built,” continued MS Patel.
Liz Truss was announced as the new head of the conservative party today. Liz Truss, who is forty -seven years old, will be the third female prime minister in England.
He defeated the former Chancellor of the Minister of Finance Rishi Sung through the posting post from all conservative members. Truss gets 81,326 votes while Mr. S is receiving 60,399 votes.
