President Droupadi Murmu will visit London from 17-19 to attend the funeral of the state of Ratu Elizabeth II and expressed condolences on behalf of the Indian government.
Queen Elizabeth II, former head of the Kingdom and Head of Commonwealth of the Nation -Nation, died at the age of 96 at the Balmoral Castle summer residence in Scotland on September 8. He will be laid at Westminster Abbey in September 19.

President Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed condolences over the death of Queen Elizabeth. Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar visited the British High Commission in New Delhi on September 12 to deliver condolences of India. India also observed national mourning days on September 11.

During the 70 years of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, the bond between Britain and India had been very strengthened. The British king played an important role in the welfare of millions of people around the world as the head of the Nation’s Commonwealth, a statement from the Indian External Ministry said.
