A woman in Germany has submitted a request to change the name of her daughter Yang, by chance, named Alexa. It was proven to cause a lot of pain for the girl, who is now six years old, because she was the target of intimidation in her school, according to a report in the New York Post. The girl was named Alexa Amazon’s device entering the market. Operated by the voice command, they immediately became popular and suffering began for the girl, from Goettingen in Germany.
His school friends kept mocking him, even giving a small ‘Alexa’ command in the playground, the post said in his report. They also make fun of it when he swimming, the outlet added.
The woman was quoted as saying by the post that a man, a stranger, once told the little girl “Alexa, Dance for Me” after hearing her name.
His parents finally proposed to city officials in Goettinghen to change the girl’s name with a deep poll, claiming to be ridiculous and continuously got too much for small Alexa.
The couple’s first effort was rejected, so they moved the City Administration Court.
Australian -based parenting brand, Kidspot reported that court officials agreed that the girl had been “burdened emotionally” by her name.
“The name not only tends to form a word -word game, but also invites the issuance of insulting and demeaning orders,” the court said in his order, according to the outlet, which allowed parents to choose a new name for their daughter.
However, there is no update about his new name.
‘Alexa’ is popular throughout the world, with Amazon reporting in January 2019 that more than 100 million devices have been sold.
