A tertiary girl in Punjab Province Pakistan has been tortured and sexually harassed because he refused to marry his friend’s father, who together with others shaved the teenage head and eyebrows and threatened to upload videos of his insult on social media if he did not pay him ₹ 1 million.
A surprising incident occurred in Faisalabad, about 150 km from Lahore, on August 8.

A video of the incident appeared on Tuesday where the girl was seen attacked by the suspects, her head and eyebrows were shaved and she had to lick shoes from the suspects.

The police said they had arrested the main suspect Sheikh Denmark, his daughter and five other suspects.

“The police have arrested seven suspects including Denmark and his daughter and the attack is being carried out to arrest the remaining suspects,” said a Punjab police spokesman.

The victim lives with his old mother and his two siblings are in England and Australia.

The police ordered 15 suspects for kidnapping, torture, extortion and sexual harassment of the girl, a dental student last year, under several parts of the Criminal Code Pakistan.

In Fir, the victim said that she and Denmark’s daughter were friends and she had family certainty with Anna’s family.

“Anna Sheikh Denmark’s father proposed to me to get married, but my family and I refused the proposal. Denmark was my father’s age and when I said this to Anna, he was very angry with me,” he said.

The victim said on August 8, when his sibling returned from England, Denmark and 14 his accomplices visited his house and forced his sister to receive a marriage proposal.

When his sister refused the proposal, the suspect and his accomplice tortured their teenagers and siblings and forced to bring them to Danish’s house where they returned to harass them. The suspects also forced the girl to lick Denmark shoes, shave her head and eyebrows, and filmed her insults.

“The main suspect (Denmark) then took him to another room where he bowed him to perform sexual harassment and record the action,” said Fir.

He said the suspects also grabbed their cellphones, squeezed ₹ 500,000 and took gold ornaments worth ₹ 450,000 from them.

The girl told the police that the suspects also demanded ₹ 1 million and threatened that if the amount was not paid, they would upload video clips on social media.

Chairman of the Punjab Minister Parvez Elahi has recorded the incident and directed the Punjab Police Chief to arrest all the suspects in this case and make sure they did not leave without being punished.
