In an effort to increase its output from Fantasy Anime Content, Netflix is developing a new series of events called Wings of Fire, which is an adaptation of the author of the Fantasy Novel Tui T. Sutherland with the same name. If you like to see dragons on the screen, this might be your jam!
This project was first announced by Tui T. Sutherland through Netflix in April 2021.
The Showrunners for Wings of Fire and Milano (Chicken Robot, Greg The Bunny, Warren The APE), Christa Starr (Warren The APE) and Justin Ridge (Star Wars: The Star Wars Rebels). David S. Cheng (Megamind, Avatar, how to train your dragon) is also a technical director of the series.
Ava Duvernay filmmaker produces with an array production company. The author of Tui T. Sutherland is also on the creative team as an executive producer. He commented on the development of the series when it was announced on April 2021:
“Will there be TV shows?” It has become the # 1 question that I get on events almost from the beginning, and the answer is finally! Not only “Yes,” but “Yes, and I don’t believe the amazing team that will make this so great.” I am very happy and grateful that Ava Duvernay is our dragon queen (I am pretty sure it is the official title). Ava is someone who saves the world every day without waiting for the forecast to tell her what to do. I hope some of my dragons grow into like him! And I know so I met our exhibition, and Milano and Christa Starr, that they were a funny, kind-hearted spirit, super-nerds of 100% understood what I was trying to do with books.

Among the names we found involved in this series including violaine briates which function as the director of Episodic, Lila Martinez who served as a storyboard artist on the project, and Jean-Denis Haas as an animated supervisor.

How many episodes on fire wings?
Netflix fire wings are reported consisting of 10 episodes. Their exact length is still not confirmed, but we have seen evidence showing that they will be around 40-60 minutes.
Whether this series will only be a limited series has not been announced. The event series is generally associated with limited series as of them the same thing but we will wait and see more.

Production in the series has been going on since August 2021 according to many staff on the project. However, the possibilities, it lasted much longer.

Netflix has not set a release date for the fire series, but considering the animation takes a few moments, we should not expect it to drop streamer in the near future.
