Documentary from Jason Blum and Ryan Murphy about the horrors of gay conversion therapy with testimony from former leaders of the “pray the gay away” movement and victims.

Directed by Kristine Stolakis the documentary debuted in June 2021 at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Cocaine Cowboys: The Kings of Miami

Coming to Netflix: August 4t

This documentary series will see Billy Corben return to a subject he covered a decade and a half go in the form of his classic film, Cocaine Cowboys (2006) which also spawned several sequels.

The six-part series will dive into the history of the South Flordia traffickers whose landmark arrests made history.

Cooking with Paris

Paris Hilton is getting a cooking show at Netflix so she’ll be trading her silver spoon for an apron while being joined by a host of celebrity guests in the kitchen to cook up a concoction of dishes.

Hit & Run (Season 1)

Coming to Netflix: August 6th

From the producers of Netflix’s Fauda and The Killing comes this new thriller series that very much looks like it’s born out of the DNA of the prior mentioned series.

Among the many YA rom-com franchises, The Kissing Booth is one of the most successful on Netflix and is set up the wrap up the trilogy.

The third movie was filmed secretly alongside the second movie which was released in June last year.

This new action-thriller stars Jason Momoa

The feature is directed by Brian Mendoza and alongside Momoa will star Isabela Merced, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Amy Brenneman.

Don’t forget Netflix is also working on another project with Jason Momoa in the form of Slumberland.

The Loud House Movie

Coming to Netflix: August 20th

After a very long wait, the Nickelodeon feature film companion to the popular series is finally coming out on Netflix.

The near hour and a half movie is directed by Dave Needham and features all of your favorite characters from the original show. In the movie, the gang will be heading on holiday to Scotland.

Beckett

Coming to Netflix: August 27th

John David Washington will be featuring in his third Netflix Original movie of 2021 in Beckett, a new thriller from director Ferdinando Cito Filomarino about a vacationing couple who become embroiled in a conspiracy plot.

He’s All That

Coming to Netflix: August 27th

It’s been a while since Netflix remade or rebooted a classic franchise but it’ll be doing so again with He’s All That in August with a reimagining of Miramax’s 1999 film, She’s All That.

Despite some of the original cast returning, this is a separate movie entirely following an influencer who accepts a challenge trying to turn the school’s biggest loser into prom king.

The Chair (Season 1)

Coming to Netflix: August 27th

One of the first major projects to come from Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will be The Chair.

The series has an all-star cast including Sandra Oh, Holland Taylor, David Morse, and Bob Balaban.
