Lin-Manuel Miranda is in high demand and Netflix managed to take Hamilton stars for the original film to come, check, … Boom! Here all you need to know so far about the biopics of music coming out on Netflix in the fall of 2021.
This project was first announced by Netflix in June 2019 through a media center and referred to the film as the acquisition.

The right release date is still not given, but thanks to the release of the TEASER trailer, we can confirm the check, check … Boom! Arrive at this autumn Netflix.
Who is behind the check, check … boom?
Netflix of course, the bankrolling film but imagine entertainment is behind the project. The company is run by Ron Howard and has had big hits for years including Rush, R.Edgard, Frost / Nixon, Da Vinci code, in humans and more.

Steven Levenson is behind the adaptation of the scenario of the original work. He is best known for writing on FXSE / Verdon and Sex Sex Showtime.
In January 2020, Theater Mania reported that Ryan Heffington was arranged to the film choreography. He is best known for working in Chandelier Vaither Video.

The official synopsis provided by Netflix is as follows:
“Stipulated in 1990, check, check … Boom! Tell Jon’s story, a theater composer who aspires high in New York City while writing Superbia – which he hoped would be the next American American music and finally gave him a big break. Who is Jonathan Larson?
American Playwright and Composer Jonathan Larson are the most famous for rent of music who won the award Tony. When is Netflix filming, check … Boom?
Pre-production began immediately after the film was announced with Lin-Manuel Miranda Prepping for the film on October 10, 2019 when he teased he was working on the project.
On October 7, 2019, we saw a glimpse of the script even though most were blackened.
The series will take place with filming in mid-February 2020 and even though it must be filmmaking indeed, it is not too far until all the production is ordered to stop due to global coronavirus pandemics.
The musical is set to be filmed mainly in New York itself, not a studio set to look like New York. Lin-Manuel Miranda is no stranger to New York City who was born there plus having lived and even worked on Broadway.
The date of making the last film (according to Getty Images – not the most reliable) is March 12 2020. IMDB also has a trivia post which on the production day was closed, they were filming outside Jonathan Larson’s house (again not verified).
As you can see from most of the pictures, most of the films are being filmed in Central Park because that how the PAPs managed to get pictures.
