Four family members from Thane Maharashtra lost in a Nepal plane crash on Sunday. They were among the 22 planes on 43 -year -old aircraft operated by private airlines, Tara Air, in Nepal that was lost on Sunday and was found in Kowang in Mustang after two hours.
Family members have been identified as Ashok Tripathi who are 54 years old, his wife, Vaibhavi Bandekar-Tripathi, 51, son of Dhanyasyya Tripathi, 22, and his daughter Ritika Tripathi, 18. The Tripathi family, resident of the Rustomjee Athena building in Thane, was in Nepal for the holidays. They have changed their flights from Pokhara Nepal.
Kapurbawdi Nepal police have confirmed that the family was lost after a plane crash.
The search operation continued
The Nepal army continued the search operation on Monday morning after being stopped on Sunday due to snow down.
The helicopter deployed for searching and rescue operations for 9 twin-engine tara air aircraft that crashed was canceled after snowing down in the Mustang District.
