Jerusalem: The Israeli Air Force attacked two sites in Gaza Sunday, the army said after Gazans faced forces at the border and launched incendiary balloons in the south of Israel. .

Israeli “Combat jets struck a Hamas military compound used for the manufacture of weapons and training, as well as an entrance to a terrorist tunnel adjacent to Jabalia,” the Israeli army said.

“The strikes were in response to Hamas throwing incendiary balloons in the Israeli territory and the violent riots that took place yesterday,” said a statement.

The army stated that the two incidents were “examples of how Hamas continues to employ terrorist tactics and targeted civilians”.

There was no ratio of the Gaza Strip of any victim caused by Israeli strikes.

Speaking to Washington, where he had met the US President Joe Biden, the Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said he had held Islamist leaders of Gaza, Hamas responsible for any Palestinian enclave disorder.

“As I said before, our actions in Gaza will serve our interests,” he told reporters before boarding an airplane in Israel.

“As far as I’m concerned, the address (of these managers) was and remains of Hamas.”

Saturday night, two forest fires erupted in the Eshkol area near the Palestinian enclave, the Israeli firefighters said.

The demonstrations broke later in the day, with the Israeli army pulling tear gas and surprising grenades when the Palestinians burned tires on the border between Gaza and Israel, said an AFP journalist.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that Palestinians had been injured in clashes, including three of fire.

Previously Saturday, Gazans attended Omar Hassan Abu al-Nile, 12, who died of his wounds per week after being shot down by Israeli forces during border clashes.

In 2018, Gazans began a protest movement requiring an end to the blockade of Israel and the law of Palestinians to return to land that they fled or were expelled from the Foundation of the Jewish State in 1948.

The often violent weekly events supported by Hamas sprayed as Israel killed some 350 Palestinians on the territory of more than a year.

Hamas and Israel then fought a devastating conflict of 11 days in May, the worst between the two parts of the years, which ended with an informal truce.

Gaza’s incendiary balloons continued during the following months, with Israel Blaming Hamas.

Israel at the same time relieve restrictions on civilian life and trade in the territory it has blocked since 2007 when Hamas has taken power.
