The price of gasoline and diesel remains stable for more than three weeks, according to price notice by fuel retailers. The price of fuel has remained unchanged since the government on May 21 announced the cutting of customs with gasoline with a record of RS 8 per liter and diesel with RS 6 per liter.
Cutting is translated into the reduction of RS 9.5 per liter for gasoline in Delhi and RS 7 liters for diesel. Gasoline in Delhi is now worth RS 96.72 per liter compared to RS 105.41 per liter previously, while the diesel cost of RS 89.62 per liter which is contrary to RS 96.67 previously.
In Mumbai, one liter of gasoline costs R S 111.35 and Diesel RS 97.28.in Chennai, the price of gasoline and diesel respectively is RS 102.63 and RS 94.24 per liter. In Kolkata, gasoline is RS 106.03, and Diesel is RS 92.76 per liter.
The oil marketing company continues customs cutting to consumers despite losing RS 13.08 per liter of gasoline and RS 24.09 in Diesel. India meets 80 percent of its oil needs through imports.
CNG customers in Mumbai will soon get fuel in front of their doors with an energy distribution startup, the delivery of fuel that signs the ‘Letter of Intent’ with the Mahan Gas Limited to establish a cellular CNG station in the city. The 24 × 7 service will serve all automatic rickshaws managed by CNG, cabin, private and commercial vehicles, school buses and other vehicles that use CNG, fuel delivery says in a statement.
Prime Minister Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesighe on Tuesday said that the new credit path provided by India would support the purchase of the island country’s fuel that lacked money for four more months from July even when the 3,500 mountain LPG delivery reached Sri Lanka, reported PTI.
Gas from this shipment will be sent to a place that gets large amounts of shares such as hospitals, hotels, crematoriums, it is quoted as saying by the first news website, the report added.
