Coronavirus India Live Updates (June 24): India reports 17,336 new COVID-19 cases and 13 deaths in 24 hours ended at 8 am on Friday. This new case marks an increase from nearly 13,313 new cases, data released by the Ministry of Health shows. The daily positive level is recorded to be 4.32 percent. The active case in this country was established at 88,284.
Maharashtra saw a new surge in Covid cases on Thursday, with the burden of the state daily case rose 60 percent to 5,218 in the last 24 hours. In 2,479, Mumbai also saw a sharp increase in the case for the last 24 hours, with the number of tests also increased from 8,131 to 20,408 in that time period.
Increased COVID-19 cases, Union Minister of Mansukh Mandaviya at a meeting with experts and key officials on Thursday said that there was a need to monitor inpatients due to viral infections or diseases such as other influenza or severe acute respiratory infections. He said there was a need to focus on the district that reported high cases and conduct adequate testing and supervision to assess the spread of infection and control them on time.
