There was a previous concern about the release date of the film because of the recent spread of eryikron. Lots of Biggies from Tollywood like RRR and Radhe Shyam have resigned from the release of Sankranthi for fear of a bad collection.
At present there are many positive signs for this film. The Government of Tamil Nadu has not turned off the cinema, supporting liberation. Although the cinema has 50% residential restrictions, the maker has advanced with release.
Thalapathy Vijay’s Master film was also released during Pongal 2021 with a 50% limit and became the highest Grosser of all time for Tamil films in Tamil Nadu. Therefore, the makers believe that Ajith will also attract the masses to the cinema.
With RRR and Radhe Shyam also came out of the race, Valimai would not have competition and would sweep a massive collection.
The film also starred in Telugu actor Karthikeya, Huma Qureshi, and Yogi Babu. H. Vinoth is a film director, and Boney Kapoor has financed the project. Valimai is ready to release on January 13, 2022.
