Netflix which builds slate content centered around the world of K-pop and during the summer takes the right to the young adult novel Maurene Goo somewhere only we know.
It was one of the two K-drama developed by Goo on Netflix, with the first I believe in something called love that has also been announced recently. Described as the Roman vacation met before sunrise, the story followed a big K-POP star and a tabloid photographer when they roamed the streets of Neon Hong Kong, found adventure and love.
This novel will be adapted into a feature film by screenwriter Lana Cho, which is known for its work on these projects as four marriages and funerals, arrows, and more.
It should be noted that a month after the announcement of this new film by Hollywood reporter, upstream announced that he had taken a new script from the author named American Seoul.
Artist release (being Ricardos, Man from Toronto) is developing a project and Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Tony Shaw, and Logan Kriete will produce. Goo and David Bloomfield are executive manufacturers. This is the other we know about Netflix only we know:
Netflix somewhere we know, adapted from a young adult novel with the same name, followed Lucky, a 17-year-old American K-Pop star who escaped his handler and his bodyguard to find hamburgers. He lost his way but met Jack, a fellow Korean American who at first did not know who he was. Jack is struggling with his own crisis about whether to learn banking to please his parents or pursue photography, he is very excited. When they roam the streets of Hong Kong, they fall to each other, but their beginner relationships are threatened by lies they say to each other.
