Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a cannabinoid found in cannabis. It has been making headlines lately with research indicating that it could be a potential treatment for everything from chronic pain to multiple sclerosis and cancer. CBD is extracted from the stems, seeds, and some flowers of the hemp plant, which is then put through a process to extract CBD.

1. Treats Chronic Pain

A study from the University of Haifa in Israel found that CBD successfully reduced chronic pain and inflammation in rats. The researchers noted that the use of CBD “produced a substantial anti-inflammatory effect” without any undesirable side effects, demonstrating the significant potential for future human studies.

One mechanism behind these findings is due to a part of CBD called Cannabidiolic Acid (CBDa), which increases the synthesis of compounds called Prostaglandins, which are crucial for proper immune system function and plays a role in fighting tumor cells. In other words, CBD can be an effective treatment for both our mental and physical issues, it just depends on the amount taken! The tastiest way to take it is by buying CBD and CBG gummies, either at a store or online. These gummies are sure to help with your pain while being delicious! Many people who use CBG gummies find that they increase their energy levels and productivity. This is because CBG helps to reduce inflammation and pain, both of which can sap our energy. In addition, CBG has been found to help improve cognitive function and memory, making it easier to focus on our work.

2. Helps Combat Psychosis

A study from the University of Cologne in Germany found that CBD can reduce psychosis-like behavior in people with a high risk for developing schizophrenia, and those with acute paranoia.

The researchers studied 40 subjects: 20 patients were given CBD and 20 received placebo as part of their treatment. The team used a number of techniques to analyze each patient’s current state, including comprehensive a mental status exam, a special type of MRI called a functional connectivity MRI (fcMRI), and an index on overall cognitive disability called “Cognitive Disability Index”. These measurements were taken again after 3 months and 6 months later. What they found was promising! In this small group of young people at high risk for psychosis, just 10 mg of CBD was enough to “produce significant effects on brain function.”

3. Helps Treat Acne

A study published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation found that CBD has an anti-inflammatory effect which makes it ideal for treating acne by suppressing sebum (oil) production.

After administering cannabidiol topically to human skin cells, they found that CBD stopped their growth and spread which allows pores to shrink and prevents future breakouts. However, more studies are needed before its official medical recommendation!

Although there is a lot of ongoing research about how CBD could be a potential treatment for a range of diseases, we still have a long way to go until all their potential benefits be fully realized by doctors and medical professionals. But, one thing is for sure; CBD has an impressive list of benefits and minimal side effects!

4. Helps Treat Epilepsy

A study conducted by the University of London found that among 178 patients with epilepsy, 44% experienced fewer seizures after taking cannabis-based medicines which contained large amounts of CBD.

The team at the University of London tested 213 epileptic participants in total; 121 people were given CBD treatment and 89 received a placebo as part of their epilepsy medication regimen. The group given CBD saw a median reduction in seizure frequency of 32%, compared to just 3% in those who received placebos. Results like these prove how effective CBD can be when used correctly!

5. Lowers Risk of Diabetes

A study published in The American Journal of Medicine found that CBD improved the way cells in the body respond to insulin (which can reduce the risk of diabetes) and prevented lab rats from developing diabetes.

Similar to many other cannabinoids, CBD is able to interact with receptors which play a key role in regulating glucose levels. By controlling how cells react to insulin, it could help prevent or improve diabetes-related problems! However, this is just on lab animals so more research needs to be done before claiming its benefits for humans suffering from diabetes.

6. Could Help Treat Cancer

Cannabis plants are known for their ability to produce Cannabidiol (CBD), which is one of at least 85 cannabinoids identified so far. These plant-derived cannabinoids are naturally available in our bodies and can be found in abundance in cannabis plants. Cannabinoids have an extremely wide range of benefits, especially when it comes to cancer treatment.

CBD can be a potent treatment for many of the health issues that plague us, from acne to cancer. And with all its benefits and minimal side effects, it’s easy to see why more people are using CBD products every day! If you’re looking for a natural way to treat your ailments without harsh chemicals or expensive prescriptions, we encourage you to explore the range of high-quality CBD products today.
